Common P6 Questions
Do I get the Primavera P6 software?

Yes — we provide access to a full P6 Professional v22 instance throughout the course. You'll work on real labs, not screenshots. Post-course, you can purchase Oracle's perpetual license, use the cloud (P6 EPPM), or use our on-premise lab access for 90 days.
Is this an Oracle official certification?

Our certificate is from GS Technologies (PMI ATP). It's accepted by employers as proof of P6 competency. Oracle's official "1Z0-593" certification is separate — we'll coach you for it if you want, at no extra cost. Most students don't need the Oracle exam — our certificate + portfolio of EPC labs gets them hired.
I'm a PMP — should I learn P6?

Absolutely. PMP teaches the methodology; P6 is the industry-standard tool that EPC employers actually use. PMP + P6 is the gold combination — it qualifies you for senior PMO roles, project controls leadership, and consulting work that pays significantly more than either credential alone.
Can I learn P6 without a PM background?

Yes. About 30% of our students are engineering grads or schedulers learning P6 as their first PM tool. We start from absolute zero — what's an activity, what's a relationship — and build from there. By Module 4 you'll be loading resources on a real refinery program.
What's the difference between P6 Professional and P6 EPPM?

P6 Professional is the desktop client; P6 EPPM is the web/enterprise version. We teach both — but focus on P6 Professional since it's the daily-driver tool for planners. EPPM concepts (web access, dashboards, integrations) are covered in Module 7.
Do you help with placement?

Yes — we have an active alumni job board with EPC employers (L&T, Tata Projects, Afcons, Punj Lloyd, etc.) actively hiring P6 planners. We also do resume review, interview prep, and direct introductions to hiring managers in our network. Most P6 students land roles within 60-90 days.
