PMP® Eligibility

Meet ONE of the three education paths below. The 35-contact-hour training requirement is fulfilled automatically by our PMI ATP course.

Bachelor's Degree Path

  • Education: 4-year bachelor's degree (or global equivalent)
  • Experience: 36 months leading projects (within last 8 years)
  • Training: 35 contact hours ✓ (we provide)

Secondary Diploma Path

  • Education: High-school diploma, associate's, or global equivalent
  • Experience: 60 months leading projects (within last 8 years)
  • Training: 35 contact hours ✓ (we provide)
✓ No degree required

GAC-Accredited Postgrad

  • Education: Bachelor's or postgrad from GAC-accredited program
  • Experience: 24 months leading projects (within last 8 years)
  • Training: 35 contact hours ✓ (we provide)
✓ Fastest path for postgrads
PgMP® Certification

PgMP® Eligibility

PgMP requires significantly more experience than PMP — you must demonstrate both project AND program management experience. Meet ONE of the two paths below.

Bachelor's Path

  • Education: 4-year bachelor's (or equivalent)
  • Project Mgmt: 4 years (6,000 hours) of project management
  • Program Mgmt: 4 years (6,000 hours) of program management
  • Training: 35 contact hours ✓ (we provide)
✓ Total: 8 years of PM/PgM

Secondary Diploma Path

  • Education: High-school diploma or associate's
  • Project Mgmt: 4 years (6,000 hours) of project management
  • Program Mgmt: 7 years (10,500 hours) of program management
  • Training: 35 contact hours ✓ (we provide)
✓ Total: 11 years of PM/PgM

Application Review

Detailed program experience verification by PMI. We coach you through this for first-pass approval.

Panel Review

A 12-member panel of certified PgMPs reviews your program-leadership narratives. We mock-interview you.

170-Question Exam

4-hour multiple-choice across 5 performance domains. Full mock exams included in our program.
