PMP validates project management — managing one project. PgMP validates program management — orchestrating multiple related projects toward a strategic outcome. PMP requires 36 months of project leadership; PgMP requires 4 years of project mgmt PLUS 4-7 years of program mgmt experience. PMP has a single exam; PgMP has a 3-stage process: application review, 12-member panel review, and 170-question exam. PgMPs typically earn a significant industry premium over PMPs.

It's the most rigorous part. A 12-member panel of certified PgMPs reviews your written program experience narratives. They're looking for evidence of strategic thinking, benefits realization, and complex stakeholder management — not just project execution. Our mock panel interview simulates this exact format. Yes. PMI accepts PgMP candidates with a secondary diploma + 4 years project management + 7 years program management experience. We'll structure your experience to highlight program leadership even if your job titles weren't formally "Program Manager."

PMI exam fee is paid directly to PMI: $1,500 for non-members, $1,000 for PMI members. PMI membership costs $159/year — we recommend joining as it gives you the discount plus access to PMI's PgMP community. The PMI fees are separate from our ₹28,000 training fee.

PMI allows 3 attempts within 1 year. With our prep, our students rarely need a second attempt — we maintain a high first-attempt success rate. If you do need to re-prep, we offer personalized weakness analysis and additional mock-panel sessions to help you clear the next attempt.
